“68 voces”, or 68 voices in English, is a series that seeks to promote the wealth of the 68 Mexican indigenous languages under the premise that “no one can love what they don’t know”. By telling bedtime stories, tales and fables from indigenous communities the program promotes respect towards these communities and cultures within the general population. Another aspiration of "68 Voces" is to contribute to reducing discrimination, while at the same time generating respect towards our elders and encouraging oral tradition. The project was also created in the hopes that it will become a tool used to conserve the wealth that these universes represent.
