LAWAC-TH and WTCLA Livestream Series #4:

Continental Cooperation: How the US, Mexico and Canada are Aligning to Confront COVID-19

Wednesday, April 22, 2020  Time: 11:00 -11:45 AM

The fourth livestream between the Los Angeles World Affairs Council & Town Hall and the World Trade Center Los Angeles will discuss how Mexico and Canada have responded to COVID-19 through the lens of their Southern California consulates, and how their businesses and citizens should plan for a post-COVID-19 future. COVID-19 has affected North America more than any other continent in the world. While the US is experiencing the greatest impact on public health, the country’s second and third largest trading partners, Mexico and Canada, have also been responding to the crisis—but on a different timeline. As the crisis has exposed gaps in preparation and supply networks, economic policies during the stabilization and recovery phases become paramount to successfully plan for future large-scale disruptive events.

LAWAC-TH and WTCLA Livestreams bring you the most knowledgeable subject experts, both domestically and abroad, on today's pressing issues. In our spirit of facilitating dialogue and raising global awareness, these livestreams are FREE for all to access during this critical moment.
