Debbie Ortiz is a 1st generation Latina, born in Los Angeles, with a deep connection to her culture. Debbie is an Art Manager, producer, and all-around creative mind with a passion for accessibility in art. She received her bachelor of arts at California State University, Fullerton with an emphasis in directing. Since then she has worked at countless theaters and worked as a production and development coordinator at the Lineage Performing Art Center where she developed programming for many programs including their Dia de Los Muertos Celebration. Debbie now sits on the board at the Lineage Performing Art Center and is a member/producer/ and writer with the Ensemble Shakespeare. She is also an Arts Associate for the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs, Public Art Division, where she manages public art projects that you see in the City of Los Angeles.

Debbie Ortiz es una latina de primera generación, nacida en Los Ángeles, con una profunda conexión con su cultura. Es gerente de arte, productora y una mente creativa con pasión por la accesibilidad en el arte. Obtuvo su licenciatura en Artes en la Universidad Estatal de California, Fullerton, con énfasis en dirección. Actualmente, es parte de la junta directiva del Lineage Performing Art Center y miembro/productora/escritora en Ensemble Shakespeare. También es asociada de artes en el Departamento de Asuntos Culturales de la Ciudad de Los Ángeles, en la División de Arte Público, donde gestiona proyectos de arte público en la ciudad.
