Being born in Mexico City, I enthusiastically embrace my cultural traditions as they offer powerful tools for social and individual transformation. My source of inspiration is the rhythms and patterns of nature; the colors, the space, the repetition of forms, and the energy of the universe interconnecting all its living things.

My work addresses strong image-making to communicate ideas and narrate scenarios. My favorite medium is alcohol In, this medium allows me to express with spontaneity and become my favorite medium to explore my inner world. I also like learning with different mixed media techniques such as watercolor, acrylic, oils, and digital media.Central to my collection is the visual embodiment of feelings and a psychological journey.  This approach is focused on mindfulness and creative energy flow.  Illustrative storytelling is also part of my portfolio and is represented with characters or heroic actions, prompting historical, spiritual, and social connectivity.

Currently, I am a visual artist based in, Oregon, the owner of Mona Creative Studio.  My fundamental belief is that arts and creative expression through the arts channel emotions in remarkable ways. Additionally, I am fortunate to have the pleasure of encouraging children and adults to manifest their unique creativity through art; teaching others extends the growth of artistic expression valuable to my community
