Sinopsis: Después de la muerte de su madre, una joven y sus dos hermanos regresan al hogar de su infancia. Un lugar de dolor y trauma. Descubren que su infancia fue complicada y que el pasado de sus padres vuelve para atormentarlos.
Biografía del director:
Javier estudió una Licenciatura en Artes en Cine y Video en Columbia College Chicago. Se graduó con honores en 2007.
Estrenó su primer largometraje, "Elvira", en el Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia en 2009. Fue una de las películas más reconocidas de ese año. Este documental estuvo en competencia y en proyecciones especiales en otros festivales de cine en México, Sudamérica, Estados Unidos y Francia.
En 2012, su cortometraje de ficción, "Playing Grown Up", ganó el Premio Remi en el Worldfest Houston y fue reconocido como el tercer lugar en la lista de los mejores cortometrajes en el Festival Internacional de Cine de Harlem en Nueva York.
En 2013 dirigió "Ti Muxe", ganador de Mejor Cortometraje Documental en los Premios Internacionales de Cine y Video de Toronto y selección oficial en el Festival Internacional de Cine de Lucerna y el Festival de Cine de Oaxaca.
Su cortometraje, "Between Us" formó parte de la selección oficial del Festival de Cine de Austin y del Blow Up Art House Film Fest en Chicago.
En 2018, coescribió y dirigió la primera temporada de la serie dramática y de suspenso original titulada "Guardia-García" para Canal Once. La cadena pública más prestigiosa de México. Javier fue el creador y showrunner de la serie. Comenzó a transmitirse el año pasado en Prime Video Latinamerica.
Ha trabajado como guionista independiente para varias productoras en México, en series de televisión y largometrajes.

Director's bio:
Javier studied a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Video at Columbia College Chicago. He graduated with honors in 2007.
He premiered his first feature film, "Elvira", at the Morelia International Film Festival in 2009. It was one of the most recognized films of that year. This documentary was in competition and in special screenings at other film festivals in Mexico, South America, the United States and France.
